Omni Chang’An Site Concept Show

Omni Chang’An is China's first large-scale site-specific conceptual theatre, a whole piece of stage performance based on the intangible cultural heritages of Shaanxi and driven by the most state of the art stage technology. The theatre is composed of 8 original parts carried in different dimensions and styles, Heming (Harmony), Nichang (The Rainbow Skirt), Yingren (The Imagined Man), Wanxiang, Chang’an, Chongyuan (The Reunion), Gongsheng (Interdependence) and Chuanqi (The Legend).

Pinnannousu

A slowly melting sculpture performance, where an industrial robot carves a large ice block to a computational lens that refracts the spotlight to graphics on the wall, spelling plus two degree celsius, an ominous warning of global temperature rise. The artwork juxtaposes the high tech optimism with transient global challenges that know no bounds. The intervention only speeds up the process.

2023 Taoyuan Land Art Festival

Since 2013, the Taoyuan Land Art Festival has transformed the art experience, seamlessly merging natural landscapes with interactive public engagement. Aligned with the 2023 World Hakka Expo, it captures the essence of Taoyuan Lia Lia, a Hakka term for leisurely gatherings and socializing. By choosing Longtan, the heart of the Hakka community, and Qingpu, the World Hakka Expo venue, as central hubs, the festival warmly invites global travelers and locals to immerse themselves in Taoyuan's captivating narrative.

The Lighthouse of Wishes

This is a special project made possible after its selection as the "best new years eve architectural proposal" by the community's residents in an open poll. This is not only an installation art, but also a community participation activity. Both locals and visitors can draw their vision for the New Year on building facade materials. In addition, an activity was promoted and launched through social media which received a large number of submissions. Each person who submitted a design became an architect of the art installation.

Supa Fama

Supa Fama is a restaurant chain in Guangzhou, China. They serve typical western style cuisine with a focus on using farm fresh produce and quality meats. They aim to promote a healthy lifestyle by eating well. With this in mind, their visual identity features abundant greenery and natural materials, creating a garden-like atmosphere. At the most recent location, an historical theme is inserted into this verdant context, conceived as a steampunk version of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon. It is designed to transport guests to another place and time, whilst remaining a cosy place to dine.

In this ancient yet vibrant land, a new architectural marvel stands tall the pride of the Chanba Silk Road International Cultural and Art Center, the Xi'an Chanba Poly Grand Theater. As the centerpiece of this cultural and art center, the Grand Theater, with its exceptional design and unique concept, is becoming the new gateway for urban cultural exchange.
