Incorporating the splendid landscape of Chongqing in the bookstore, the designer has created a space where the visitors may feel like in the charming Chongqing while reading. There are five types of reading area in total, each of which is like a wonderland with distinctive features. Chongqing Zhongshuge bookstore has provided the consumers with a more fancy experience that they are not able to gain through the online shopping.

At the core is a 35m high atrium dubbed Opera Theatre, which features hundreds of 1,800 programmable spotlights to resemble a galaxy, evoking curiosity and creativity, taking the form of a galaxy and mysterious body of stars.

In this way, the design team brings fantastic visual experience while at the same time spreads the local characteristics and culture to a larger crowds. Guiyang Zhongshuge has been a cultural feature and urban landmark in Guiyang city. In addition, it also bridges the gap of the cultural atmosphere in Guiyang.
Continue readingThis is a renovation project of a two-story commercial street structure shop. The first floor hall tells the aesthetic idea of custom jewelry through gypsum sculpture. The copper steps and mirrored roofs give this particular space an upward force. The overhead sandwich area is not only the extension of space, but also the VIP reception space. The cutting wall of the corridor makes people feel like they are shuttling in diamonds. The whole space on the second floor uses a large number of church building symbols, which increases the sense of ritual of consumers.
Continue reading"Bubble Forest" is a public sculpture made of acid resistant stainless steel. The material has the property of reflecting both natural and artificial light. During the night, it is illuminated with programmable RGB LED lamps. It was created as a reflection on the ability of plants to produce oxygen. The title forest consists of 18 steel stems/trunks ending with crowns in the form of spherical constructions representing a single air bubble. “Bubble Forest” refers to the terrestrial flora as well as to that known from the bottom of lakes, seas and oceans.

Combining three or more functional sections into a space becomes a kind of trends in China and many other countries, due to customer experience and management operation. The club, swimming pool and restaurant were given three different elements to stand out from each other.
