Strata Naha

The project plans to create a unique 'city resort' hotel in the heart of Naha-city, Okinawa. The name "Strata" was inspired by the land's rich nature and culture, which means layers of earth; it aims to discover layers of preexisting cultural gems and adding new layers of value to the ongoing cultural contents. The project also aimed to create a hotel that connects with the local community; original textiles are incorporated in a modern interior design by collaborating with local traditional artisans.

Golden Eagle G Nanjing

The Qinhuai River, an epitome of the history and culture of Nanjing, is extracted as the design theme. Ancient Chinese scholars' stories that ever happened along the riverside are translated into decoration elements via modern design approaches so that the glamour of history collides yet mixes with today's fashion and vitality in the space. In this way, a unique living experience with a taste of both elegance and vogue is delivered to guests to redefine top-class luxurious and trendy lifestyle.

Fuzhou Marriott Riverside

The design brief is to design a contemporary Marriott branded hotel 4500m2 that can articulate Marriott's international brand strategy, philosophy and globally consistent image while incorporate Fuzhou 2500 years' history and its rich unique cultural heritage as the design inspiration. The hotel features 318 exquisite modern rooms, three restaurants Goji Kitchen and Bar, Jasmine Chinese Restaurant, The Bao Specialty Restaurant and 1800 m2 large grand ballroom and meeting room area.

Tongrentang

Tongrentang Zhima Health has created a complex functional system of healthy diet, medical center, health examination and social entertainment. The designer Yong Wong has applied a large area of contrasting materials as solid wood and brass in the store. From the ground floor to upstairs, Zhima Health Concept Store has four themes as inquiry, food, convalescence and cure.

The Westin Miyako Kyoto Chapel

Intended to express the new spirit of Kyoto, the highly original chapel is able to accommodate the increasingly diverse range of wedding styles sought by contemporary couples, including not only conventional church ceremonies but also Shinto and non-religious ceremonies. It utilized as much of the existing framework as possible, adding a wooden ceiling lattice interwoven with indirect lighting to evoke sunlight pouring through the branches of trees. The result is a sacred space imbued with traditional Japanese aesthetics and deep respect for its abundant natural surroundings.

Pop Star

Pop Star is based on the geometric shape of the icosahedron. Through the deconstruction of space and the reconstruction of form, the artist finally constructed this 'monster' with a huge volume that exceeds the human visual reading scale, like an alien object flying in from another dimension of time and space. Viewers could feel the association between the Pop Star and transcendental theory that Ralph Waldo Emerson said: The world globes itself in a drop of dew, while the artist enlarges a tiny compound eye into a behemoth.
