Kanglaibo

It is a design case for a resort hotel with an indoor area of 16,000 square meters and 19 floors. The hotel is in the Baianshan National Forest Park of Jiangxi Province. The designer creates ethnic-cultural characteristics that given the hotel a unique personality. Moreover, the designer designed a water-saving system for the hotel’s hot-spring bath in the air and each guest room. The system guarantees the user experience of tourists and effectively saves the natural hot-spring resources.

Spring Breeze

It is a renovation case for a building with an indoor area of 1000 square meters. The building is a single-family and steel-structured architecture. The owner wants to transform it into a real estate company office space with the business working and project display functions. The designer used traditional architectural techniques to build a new Chinese-style wooden house inside the building to reconcile the space, creating a working area and other spatial functions. The delicate wooden house is a great visual contrast to the steel-structured building. The visitors will be impressed.

Smart City

The annual international Municipal Innovation Exhibition and Conference takes place in Tel Aviv, Israel. The concept design for this year fair derived from the topic of innovation pertaining to Smart Cities. The design brief intended to create an experience along 3000 m2 where each visitor would be embarked in the discovery of the most recent innovations in regards to the City. The creation of a vertical town above an increasing urbanized world aimed to stimulate the imagination of the visitor with the feeling of finding himself in a City of Tomorrow.

Central Park

The project is located at Xi'an, next to Xi'an's largest urban ecological park, about 113.4 hectares, and has become a natural landscape resource for the project. Every inch of land and every plant has got a very poetic expression. The designers hope to use the "Central Park" as the theme, combined with the guest line and use the "Introduction, elucidation, transition, and summary" design method to create a reception center with park experience.

CoDe

CoDe, the Costa Design Collection, is the first museum-type cultural space on a cruise ship, created to capture the spirit of “Italian taste” through a selection of objects and furnishings, fashion items, artifacts and anecdotes. Each exhibit is intricately connected to the history of Made in Italy, a sentiment that represents the value of expertise and invention in the “Bel Paese,” making these design objects true points of reference for Italy’s global influence from the 1930s to the present.

Aum

Showcasing this heritage edifice as a protagonist of design remained the main principle behind this project. The 19th century building was severely damaged during WWII and later fell into disuse. Through sensitive design interventions, the building was brought back to life with a renewed purpose. As well as restoring the historic fabric in a meticulous fashion, the overall building was rehabilitated into a university campus in order to usher the site into the current age. Its industrial character is directly reflected in the exposed services and the original structural elements.
